DID YOU KNOW THIS?
Not far under our feet flows some of the best drinking water in the world-bubbling springs and pure water from down in Vermont’s bedrock. Most people around the world would love to have water like ours.
It cost less to drill a well today than it did 20 years ago (considering inflation). That’s a bargain.
MAINTAINING YOUR SYSTEM
Routine maintenance on your pressure tank and controls will save you money in the long run. Call us to schedule.
If you have an older style well cap, we can exchange it for a “sealed” cap. I wish I had a dollar for every earwig I’ve found in those old caps!
A wishing well set over your well is fine, but remember to remove it each fall. It can cause the frost to go deep, causing all sorts of problems.
If your well casing is buried, it shouldn’t be. We can extend it above ground to make it accessible and sanitary. Digging up a buried wellhead in January is costly.
Plastic fittings and cheap, lightweight pipe become very expensive when they fail (and they will). We use only lead-free brass or stainless steel fittings and heaviest duty pipe.
FIX THE PROBLEM FAST
If your water smells bad, looks bad, or tastes bad, call us right away-before the problem becomes worse and more expensive to fix.
If your toilet is running, your pump will suffer for it.
Your spring should be pumped, cleaned and chlorinated regularly to keep your water safe and clean.
